Learn how to keep your pooch engaged and focused, even amidst distractions
AGES 18 weeks or under or currently attending Puppy Socials.
With the Canine Flu going around, many of us will need to find ways of keeping our puppies fit and mentally engaged in order to prevent the behavior problems that accompany the bored puppy.
In this workshop, we will show you how to safely engage your puppy in play such as tug-of-war and other games. We will also show you how to teach a rock-solid retrieve, and how to use this to exercise and train your pooch. We all know that “a tired puppy is a good puppy.” So let us show you how to tire out that high energy dog when he can’t play with other puppies!
The Fun and Games Workshop is a single session course that lasts approximately 50 minutes. Puppies are to attend this session, and we encourage attendance by your entire family.**The Canine Influenza Virus has recently reached the Bay Area. Please read through our Vaccinations and Behavioral & Health Appropriateness sections of our Group Dog Class Rules and Policies for more information! Please remember that puppies are not to greet or engage with one another in this workshop. Please keep at least 6 feet between your puppy and other dogs at all times. Aggressive or disruptive puppies are not appropriate for this workshop, but you are encouraged to audit this class instead.
The one-time class fee of $35 covers the seminar. You and your puppy can feel great knowing that a portion of your training class fees benefit the homeless animals in our community! The audit (no puppy) price for this workshop is $35per person.
