Daisy and Oscar ![]() Happy in their new home Daisy, an 8 1/2 year-old Jack Russell Terrier, and Oscar, a 6-year-old Dachshund, were brought to HSSV when their family had a new baby and no longer had time for them. Because Daisy and Oscar had been together for several years and were stressed when they were apart, we knew we had to adopt them together. We were thrilled when we found the perfect new home with their new mom and dad, Susan and Mark, who sent us a letter from Daisy recently. According to Daisy: "I have a soft place to rest my head at night and a comfortable blanket to cuddle up on should I wish to take a rest during the day. Loving on these humans is exhausting work, but Oscar and I are up for the challenge! I heard my new humans say that they could not have found a more loving pair of dogs to share their lives with! Oscar and I are certainly happy in our new home! Our thanks to you all for the love and attention you showed us during our stay at your fine establishment! My hope is that everyone finds as loving a home as we have found!" |
