Leo  Happy addition to Carl and Sean's home Leo, a gorgeous 11-year-old Persian kitty, in perfect health - but in need of grooming - was surrendered to HSSV because his family was moving. After having surgery in April to begin home kidney dialysis, Carl found himself spending many hours home alone, and decided he needed a companion. He searched the HSSV website and came across Leo's picture and profile, and knew he and his partner Sean had to meet him in person. Immediately after Leo settled comfortably in his arms, Carl knew he was the cat for them. According to Carl, "Leo loves to drink water from his fountain, takes long naps at the foot of the bed, and is entertaining by eating his kibble one piece at a time using his paw to pull it from his bowl. Leo will lecture Sean and I when we come home late. He has been such a great companion and made himself at home immediately." |
