Pumpkin  A new home and new best friend Pumpkin, a 3 1/2 year-old Chihuahua mix, was surrendered to HSSV when her family could no longer afford to keep her. Pumpkin is a very sweet, shy girl who is full of kisses and we knew right away we had to find a very special home for this very special little girl. Because she was suffering from chronic eye problems, we took her to an animal eye specialist and the decision was made to remove her eye. While Pumpkin recovered, we all gave her lots of love and started looking for the perfect new home for her. One day Inori and Aaron came to HSSV looking for a new friend for their dog, Chu-Chu. They brought Chu-Chu in to meet Pumpkin and Pumpkin was soon on her way to her new home. We recently heard from Inori and Aaron and they say that Pumpkin is doing great! She loves her new friend, Chu-Chu and they play and sleep together in fact they're always together! Inori tells us that Pumpkin is exactly the dog they'd been looking for and matches their lifestyle perfectly. She said "Thanks for allowing us to welcome Pumpkin as a member of our family. We love her!" |
