Miko  A perfect match for Patrick Miko, a 51/2-year-old kitty, was brought to HSSV as a stray. After being here for 6 months (and totally charming our staff and volunteers!), we were all hoping that we'd find the perfect home for Miko soon he so deserved a wonderful new family! Because of his winning personality and his calm, gentle demeanor, he was moved to our new satellite adoption facility at Petco in Saratoga to get more exposure to potential adopters. Enter Patrick, a single guy looking for a low-maintenance, easy-going pet companion. After spending 2 hours getting to know Miko, Patrick knew that he'd found the perfect cat, so he adopted his new buddy before someone else discovered this treasure! Patrick recently told us that he and Miko are very happy and that Miko has adjusted to his new home remarkably well. He says that his kitty seemed immediately comfortable there, knew what the litter box was for and just felt right at home! Every night Miko curls up next to Patrick and sleeps through the night. Patrick was considering adopting a kitten...but in choosing an adult cat Patrick could gauge Miko's personality from the start, and knew he'd be the ideal cat for him! |
