Bear  Then their eyes met Bear, an 8-month-old Tibetan Spaniel mix, was surrendered to HSSV because his family was moving and didn't want him anymore. We found Bear to be a sweet, loving, cuddly, playful boy who just needed a wonderful new family. Ten-year-old Garrett and his family came to HSSV because Garrett wanted a dog of his own, and a friend for his sister's dog, Stinson, an HSSV alum. Garrett came to the shelter and looked through the kennels several times until one day he saw Bear. Garrett tells everyone that Bear looked him in the eyes and he just knew they were meant for each other. Garrett's mom tells us that Bear has been a loving addition to their family. He's playful, affectionate and loves attention. Bear and Stinson romp around playing and wrestling like littermates. One of Bear's favorite new places is the beach. He loves running in the sand and getting his feet wet in the ocean. Garrett can't wait to take Bear to their favorite camping spot on Bear Lake this summer. Garrett is sure his pup will love it after all it's "Bear's Lake!" |
