Our forever friend  Our forever friend . Che and I adopted Tyson, a border collie/pointer mix, a year ago (we just celebrated our 1 year adoption anniversary this weekend). He is the best dog I have ever met. He is polite (even lays down low to play with little dogs), friendly (never met a human he didn't like), and super smart (can count to ten in Spanish...just kidding). We were apprehensive at first when we decided to adopt a hunting dog like Tyson considering we had two scaredy cat cats at home that don't enjoy being "hunted". It took a few weeks but Tyson eventually learned that they were part of his new family too. He even played semi-nurse to our one cat who broke her leg earlier this year, constantly checking up on her. He is a great younger brother to them both and has been such a joy for both Che and me. We are so happy he is part of our family. He has definitely found a forever home with us and we have found a forever friend in him! |
