A 5 year olds letter to his teacher regarding her request for a Donation to Humane Society instead of a Christmas Gift.

Hello,
My name is Eric and I am a 5 year old kindergartener. I want to let everyone know about Mrs. Kermit, the most fantastic teacher that I've ever known. Mrs. Kermit always has a friendly voice and a beautiful smile for me when I come to school each day. She teaches me all that she can to help me get ready for 1st grade. I always sit very quietly and listen so I don't miss anything she says. Mom says, Mrs. Kermit loves me and my classmates a whole lot, we know this because she is always there waiting for us the next day when we return. We all want to get her a real neat Christmas Gift to show her just how important she is to us but Mrs. Kermit asked that we just make a donation to the Humane Society. Mrs. Kermit got her dog Maddie from there and Maddie brings her Joy and Love. Mrs. Kermit says she can never say just how much she appreciates having Maddie in her life. So..... I'm going to spend my gift money for my teacher here at the Humane Society. I hope this makes her happy because that is what I want for her. For me, I'd want toys but for Mrs. Kermit I'll do anything.
