Dear Friend of HSSV,

On behalf of the staff, volunteers, and animals at Humane Society Silicon Valley, I want to wish you a happy and healthy holiday season and New Year.

We saved many lives in 2008. Pets like Friskee, an elderly mixed breed dog who found his forever home after a long stay at our shelter. Or Leo, an affectionate Persian cat adopted as a companion for an in-home dialysis patient.

I hope it warms your heart to know that we made difference in the lives of so many homeless dogs, cats, puppies, kittens and rabbits. But so many more pets will need our help this holiday season: a roof over their heads, food in their tummies, and, most important, tender loving care.

To best serve the pets right here in our community, we have set a goal to raise $125,000 by December 31st. Will you please help us reach this goal and provide Gifts of Hope to our pets?

Please, open your heart to the orphaned pets in our community and make a generous tax-deductible year-end gift today.

The pets are counting on all of us to brighten their lives and find them homes in the new year. With your help, we can give the homeless pets in our community the Gift of Hope this holiday season.

Thank you for all that you do,

Christine Benninger, President
