The mission of the education department is to explore the history and meaning of our animal kinship and foster a life-long commitment to animals.
Our education department offers a variety of programs for children, teens and adults. Our programs are highly interactive, student-centered and age-appropriate.
Children will learn about compassion, and how to be responsible pet owners. Take a tour, sign up for monthly Animal Pals Club classes for 8 - 10 year olds, and learn more about our Amazing Animals Summer Camp (3rd-8th grade).
|4th - 8th Grade
Kids learn about being compassionate, responsible and active citizens in the community. Learn more about our Animal Starz program, where middle school students can earn four hours of community service, and check out our Amazing Animals Summer Camp (3rd-8th grade).
|9th - 12th Grade
Teens can be a voice for the animals through our Compassion In Action program, or sit on our Youth Advisory Board and provide feedback on how to create youth-centric programs.
