Animal Community Center and Neighborhood Adoption Centers Closed on July 4th
All HSSV locations, including the Milpitas Animal Community Center and the Mountain View, Sunnyvale and West San Jose Neighborhood Adoption Centers, will be closed all day on Tuesday, July 4th, 2017. Our Intake Department will be open for Animal Surrendering. For urgent matters during the closure, please call us at (408)262-2133 ext. 110.
Anyone who has experienced a loss or anticipates such a loss is invited to attend the HSSV Companion Animal Loss Support Group. The group helps grieving pet owners heal the pain by working through their feelings of loss, anger, and depression.
The meetings are hosted by Vicki Traylor and held at the shelter on the first Tuesday of each month from 6:30 p.m. 7:30 p.m.. You may attend an unlimited number of meetings and are encouraged to return to help others work through their grief e
